October 23rd - 28th was Red Ribbon Week at TVS. Red Ribbon Week is the oldest and largest Drug Prevention Campaign in the nation!
Congrats to Mrs. Ackermans' class for winning the poster contest. Here is a photo of the winning poster from the contest.
Mrs. Cole and Mr. Mack's classes won the canned good contest.
Red Ribbon Week is a great way to start the conversation about drugs at school and hopefully it carries over at home. I encourage everyone to continue the conversation at home!

MVCTC Guest Speakers in TVS Health Classes
On January 10th, 2017, the TVS middle school and high school health classes welcomed a group of students from the Miami Valley Career Technology Center as guest speakers. The students are a part of HOSA, Health Occupations Students of America, and they spoke about stress management. Storyboard That
Storyboard That is a neat website where students can create storyboard comic strips, showing their skills they've learned in health. For example, when students learn about refusal skills, they can make a storyboard where someone is being pressured into something and show how their character uses proper refusal skills to get out of the situation!
