Researchers suggest that there are indicators of mental health, representing three domains. These include:
- Emotional well-being
- Perceived life satisfaction, happiness, cheerfulness, and peacefulness.
- Psychological well-being
- Self-acceptance, personal growth including openness to new experiences, optimism, hopefulness, purpose in life, control of one’s environment, spirituality, self-direction, and positive relationships.
- Social well-being
- Social acceptance, beliefs in the potential of people and society as a whole, personal self-worth and usefulness to society, and sense of community.

How to Manage Stress Posters
7th graders made posters to hang around the school, giving ideas of how to cope with stress in healthy ways! They focused on Time Out, Work Out, Reach Out and gave examples for each category.
