FitnessGramFitnessGram is a comprehensive educational, reporting and promotional tool used to assess physical fitness and physical activity levels for children.
It is important to note that FitnessGram test items were selected to assess important aspects of a student’s health related fitness, not skill or agility. FitnessGram reports do much more than compare scores to standards. They put the test results into the broader context of what it means to be physically fit, and suggest ways that students can be more physically active and improve their level of fitness to help them reach the Healthy Fitness Zone standards for each test measure. What does it mean to be in the Healthy Fitness Zone? If children are in the Healthy Fitness Zone they are considered to have sufficient fitness for good health. Student scores are considered personal and will never be made public. Student scores are never used for grading purposes. FitnessGram prints out reports for each student to provide feedback to students and parents and helps students set goals to improve their fitness. Here is an example report: |
